2027 Call for Proposals
Alliance for Medical Access is opening its 2027 Call for Proposals: a targeted, time-bound call for local health organizations in Africa and Asia carrying concrete healthcare-access projects.
This call is open now and closes on 15 January 2027. It is distinct from our permanent funding approach, described on the "What We Fund" page: it sets out the priorities chosen for this specific cycle, without fixing our future areas of action.
Selected organizations receive funding and support from AMA, from structuring the project through to its implementation.
The two streams of the 2027 cycle
For this cycle, and this cycle only, we are supporting two priority streams.
Stream A — Maternal & Child Health
Improving access to care for mothers, newborns, and young children.
- Decentralized antenatal consultations in rural areas
- Equipping a local maternity unit
- Screening and treatment for child malnutrition
Stream B — Digital Health
Using digital tools to widen access to care and strengthen local health systems.
- Teleconsultation linking an isolated health center to a referral hospital
- A digital immunization registry
- Digital tracking of medicine stocks
What we're looking for right now
Who can apply
Any organization legally registered in a country in Africa or Asia, working in health, with a genuine presence in the area it targets. Projects must fall under one of the two streams of the 2027 cycle.
What we expect at application
A presentation of your project (context, target population, objectives), the planned activities and expected results, a provisional budget, and a brief presentation of your organization.
Administrative documents (registration certificate, financial statements for the last two years) are only requested if your project is shortlisted — no need to gather them at this stage.
Full detail — evaluation criteria, stream specifics, FAQ.
Submit your project
Submission happens directly online, on this page. There is no separate form and no dedicated e-mail address. Accepted in French and English, until 15 January 2027 inclusive.
