Advancing Equity
in Global
Health.

Geographic isolation, economic hardship, and political instability should never dictate a human being's right to healthcare. AMA focuses its support on the world's most fragile health ecosystems.

Institutional Confidence

Why Institutional Partners Trust AMA

Accountable by Design

Our support is structured around partner review before funding, defined milestones, and reporting on how funds are used.

Local Ownership

We do not replace local systems. We empower local health workers and community leaders to ensure long-term sustainability and resilience.

Partners by Choice, Not Chance

No organization is funded without a full review of its governance, financial controls, technical capacity, and community roots.

Funding Where No One Else Goes

AMA funds remote, underserved, and conflict-affected areas — where funders struggle to find reliable partners on the ground.

How We Operate

Our Method

01

We start from the need, not an imported model

Every program is built from the diagnosis made by those who deliver care. AMA does not arrive with a pre-built solution to apply to a place.

02

We strengthen structure before we fund activity

Governance, financial controls, reporting capacity — these gains stay with the partner well beyond the project, and shape its future access to institutional funding.

03

We disburse in tranches, against milestones

Each payment is documented before the next. This pace protects the funder and builds a discipline of tracking that serves the partner afterward.

04

We design every partnership to make itself unnecessary

The end goal is the partner's independence: its own ability to access international funding directly, without an intermediary.
